"Our thanks for making our day out at Brampton golf club on Monday very special.
The pro shop attitude towards people coming in the shop was great. The green staff for having the course in such tremendous condition. Too many comments about the course condition to mention but everyone complimentary. Then the bar staff from the first guy coming in making sure all bacon sandwiches were served piping hot and tea and coffee was freely available. Then asking and taking everyone's order for for their meal so they knew what people had ordered and was ready for each group when they came in. The comments on the food were fantastic and every one again positive. And the service was impeccable.
So over all a fantastic day was had by all and word of mouth that people going away will take can only be a big plus for Brampton golf club. It would be unfair to name names because everyone working that day made it just that little bit more special for us. So well done to everyone concerned." MS

Brampton Golf Club hosts Cumbria and Durham senior team match

This week saw the Cumbria Senior Team take on the Durham Senior team at Brampton, with Cumbria coming out the victors with an impressive 14 – 4 victory. With the continued rise in stature of Brampton Golf Club becoming one of the best courses in northern England the club goes from strength to strength and more county events are scheduled for the future months.

Brampton Golf Club's PGA Professional has major success

Brampton Golf Club’s new PGA professional Philip Waugh has had a major success this week. Winning the PGA Club Professionals Qualifier at Delamere Forest. Philip competed against 80 other PGA professionals in windy conditions to come out on top and now goes onto the finals at the Oxfordshire Golf Club in July 2016.

A Hole in One on the 14th
